Lab party and new paper
September 3, 2021We had an end of summer outdoor lab party to celebrate our extraordinary thesis students (Arya, Kanza, Maryam, Mehreen), our lab’s continuous resilience in dealing with all the challenges the last year has thrown at us, and a new paper acceptance for Mehreen, Arely and our amazing collaborators Hayley, Jude, Jibran (Khokhar lab) and Blake Richards (LINC lab). Congrats!
Paper accepted and lab celebrations
August 6, 2021We had a lot to celebrate this month, with a paper acceptance in Learning and Memory for Rojina, Mudi, Arely, Agarsh and Unza (Arely and Unza pictured here as the others are no longer in the lab), as well as birthday celebrations for Mehreen and Arely (notice our new COVID candle protocol) and our first wedding celebration from a lab member. Congratulations!!!!!!
Lab BBQ
July 15, 2021After all this time doing virtual lab socials, restrictions lifted and we were finally able to have a lab BBQ this summer. So great to have the lab together (but distanced) in person and enjoying the nice summer weather! Special thanks to master BBQ chef Arya!!!
